JT Look, owner and mechanic, opened Rutland City Bikes in 2014 at 56 Strongs Avenue before relocating to 411 West Street in September 2020 after a five-year stint running Fishtown Bikes-N-Beans in Philadelphia. The shop sells new and used bikes, carries Rad Power e-bikes and brands including Fantic, with services including repairs, tune-ups, bike fitting, boxed-bike assembly, and custom builds. Rutland City Bikes serves a broad mix across mountain, road, hybrid, commuter, fat, freeride, and recumbent categories, and was named Best of the Best 2025 in the Rutland Herald Readers' Choice Awards.
