Rubber Soul Bicycles opened in 2007 when co-owners Rich and Ben, who had each run separate Fresno bike shops in the 1980s and 1990s, reunited to launch the shop together on the northwest corner of Blackstone and Nees. The team carries Specialized, Cervelo, Santa Cruz, Cannondale, Salsa, and Surly, among others. Service depth is a defining strength: the shop's technicians bring over 100 years of combined experience, with certifications including Specialized, Shimano, Bosch, Retül, and Serotta fit schools. Ernesto, on staff since 2014, has 25 years of bike-mechanic experience; Danny, Head Tech since 1995, has over 25 years in the industry; Mike, certified in Retül fitting, joined in 2010 and is a two-time Ironman finisher.
