Riverwear began in 1983 designing quick-dry white-water shorts for river rafters, and has grown into a year-round retail presence in Stanley, Idaho. The shop carries apparel for river, camping, and Nordic skiing, with rental inventory including Salomon cross-country ski packages, snowshoes, and NRS wetsuits. Founded and operated by Charlie and Christy Thompson, both with nearly thirty years of guiding experience on Idaho rivers, the shop stocks gear selected for the Sawtooth and White Cloud region, supplemented by local maps, hiking guides, and custom Stanley apparel.
