Redemptive Cycles opened in July 2013 as a nonprofit (501c3 status September 2014) in Birmingham, Alabama. The shop carries Rad Power and Salsa bikes alongside new and used inventory, and offers full-service repairs, free monthly mechanics classes, a free public workstation, and an Earn-a-Bike program. Revenue from bike and parts sales funds sliding-scale repairs and donated bikes for those without transportation access, supplemented by volunteer labor and community donations.
