Question 1

Does Recumbent Trike Store offer delivery, and what are the options?

Accepted Answer

The shop provides free hand-delivery fully assembled anywhere in the Denver Metro area, or free pickup at its Thornton, CO location. For orders outside the service area, standard freight shipping is available at cost.

Question 2

What brands of recumbent trikes and sport wheelchairs does the shop carry?

Accepted Answer

Recumbent Trike Store stocks four brands: ICE (touring and off-road models priced $6,000–$12,000), TerraTrike (entry-level to premium daily riders, $2,500–$8,000), GreenSpeed (heavy-duty recumbents with high weight capacity, $3,000–$7,000), and Top End (sport wheelchairs for racing and competitive athletes, from $4,000+).

Question 3

How does the ordering process work at Recumbent Trike Store?

Accepted Answer

Customers email the shop with their needs and budget; the shop replies within one business day with model comparisons and pricing. After the customer approves their choice, the shop places the manufacturer order the same business day and tracks the build through delivery or pickup.

Question 4

Does Recumbent Trike Store offer fleet pricing for programs and organizations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The shop provides multi-unit pricing scaled to program size with no posted minimum to request. Fleet orders are delivered fully assembled and adjusted directly to the facility, with staff walkthrough included before delivery.

Question 5

What makes Recumbent Trike Store's approach different from other dealers?

Accepted Answer

The shop emphasizes zero-pressure fitting (its stated goal is to match riders to the right machine for their budget and needs, rather than to sell the most expensive option). The shop handles all manufacturer coordination, build tracking, and logistics after the customer places an order.

Question 6

How long does it typically take to receive a trike or sport chair after ordering?

Accepted Answer

Build times vary by brand: TerraTrike and GreenSpeed require 2–3 weeks at the factory, ICE requires 3–5 weeks, and Top End sport chairs require 4–6 weeks. Delivery or pickup follows once the build arrives at the shop's location.
