About
Ray's Cycle opened in 1969 when Ray Posey Sr. and Nena purchased Frank's Cycle and Mower in Vacaville; the shop moved to its downtown Main Street location in 1984 and has remained a Solano County staple for over four decades. The 9,000-square-foot store stocks 400: 600 bikes at a time: the largest selection in the county: and carries Trek, Santa Cruz, Juliana, Diamondback, Electra, 45NRTH, Teravail, Shimano, and SRAM. Beyond retail, Ray's handles general repairs and service appointments, and staff have served on the Bicycle Advisory Committee and supported youth cycling through the Rockhopper Mountain Bike Race and coaching the Dirt Dogs high school mountain bike team.
