Ray's Cycle was founded in 1969 when Ray Posey Sr. retired from the Air Force and purchased Frank's Cycle and Mower in Vacaville, California; it has been family-owned and operated for over four decades, now managed by Ray Jr., Mike, and Chris. The shop operates a 9,000-square-foot Vacaville location with 400: 600 bikes in stock at any time and serves Solano County with general repairs, service appointments, and parts sourcing. The shop has been chosen "Solano's Best Bike Shop" for 13 consecutive years and staff have led community cycling initiatives including the Rockhopper Mountain Bike Race and coaching the Dirt Dogs high school mountain bike racing team.
