Prevelo Bikes is a family-owned business founded in 2016 and based in Southern California, run by Jacob and his family with a singular focus on designing and manufacturing bicycles specifically for children. The company designs all bikes from the ground up for kids, featuring exceptionally low seat heights, low bottom brackets, optimized crank lengths, and narrow pedal-to-pedal spacing to maximize confidence and comfort. All frames and forks are custom 6061 aluminum with components (hubs, wheels, handlebars, stems, saddles, brakes, shifters, derailleurs, tires) selected and engineered for durability and ease of use by young riders. The Alpha and Zulu series have received recognition from Bicycling Magazine, TIME (Best Inventions 2025), and Mom's Choice Awards.
