Portland Bicycle Emporium opened at 4827 SE Division, run by proprietor Geoff Greene, who has spent two decades since the 1990s fixing, restoring, and building bikes in factories and shops. The shop stocks new Public and KHS bikes assembled with precision, specializes in vintage and classic bike restoration: particularly Chicago-era Schwinn bicycles: and maintains a full service workshop for everything from flat fixes to complete rebuilds and custom wheel building. The storefront doubles as an informal museum, displaying bikes and parts from Greene's personal collection alongside Portland history.
