Phil's Bicycle World was founded in 1979 by Phil Murphy in Florence, SC, realizing a childhood dream to own a bike shop; the store has been family-operated and remains on W Palmetto Street since 2005. It carries Trek, Specialized, Giant, Electra, Aventon, 45NRTH, and Teravail, and offers tiered repair services from safety checks to full restorations ("Philly Special"), plus tube replacement and custom work by request.
