Patriot Bicycles traces its roots to The Bike Shop, founded in the early 1960s. Scott Barrette, the current third owner, purchased his first bike there and now operates the shop with over 50 years of cumulative experience. Located in Citrus Heights, it carries Fuji and Giant bikes alongside a curated inventory of BMX frames, complete bikes, and vintage BMX memorabilia (65+ frames and 20+ complete bikes). The shop serves a broad Sacramento Valley audience with sales, repairs, and maintenance Monday: Saturday, and positions itself as a local archive of BMX collector culture.
