Founded in 1975, Olympic Bike Shop operates from a single location on North Lake Blvd in Tahoe City and has served as the epicenter of cycling activity for the Tahoe Truckee region for nearly 50 years. The shop carries Specialized, Trek, Evil, Electra, Surly, 45NRTH, and Teravail, stocking road, mountain, gravel, electric, hybrid, and kids' bikes alongside a broad selection of clothing and parts. Services include bike repair and tune-ups, professional bike fitting, and rentals from what it describes as North Lake Tahoe's largest rental fleet; staff are active local riders.
