Nomad Bicycle Works is a mobile repair service operating throughout Washington, DC and parts of Maryland, founded and operated by a DC native with nearly 20 years of experience as a bicycle mechanic starting from a local co-op apprenticeship. The shop specializes in on-site repairs and assembly at customers' homes or workplaces, serving standard bicycles, cargo bikes, and e-bikes including Rad Power, Lectric, Aventon, Ride1Up, Tern, and Velotric. Services include standard and cargo/e-bike assembly, e-bike tube/tire replacement, brake pad replacement, and general repair work, with pricing substantially below traditional retail shops and a policy of test rides to verify completion.
