Founded in 1977 by Jack Ruiz as a 400-square-foot shop with 5 bikes, Miami Beach Bicycle Center has expanded to a 4,000-square-foot South Beach showroom now owned and operated by Ruiz and his two sons, Alex and Danny. It carries Cannondale, Electra, Pinarello, Giant, Jamis, and Scott, with services including professional bike fitting, general repairs for all makes/models, and bike rentals (e-bikes, cruisers, hybrids, road, tandem, and kids' bikes). The shop serves all rider types: commuters, recreational cyclists, road and mountain enthusiasts: and offers bike tours alongside retail.
