Maui Sunriders began in 2001 as a locally owned tour operator and has grown to three locations (Paia since 2001, Kihei since January 2022, and Kapalua since December 2024) offering sales, rentals, tours, and repair across the island. The shop carries Aventon, Electra, Shimano, SRAM, Surly, and Teravail, with distinctive in-house suspension rebuilding: the only shop in Hawaii performing full 200-hour fork and shock services on-island rather than shipping to the mainland. Services include professional bike fitting optimized for Maui's terrain, e-bike diagnostics and motor servicing, and guided Haleakala downhill and road tours.
