Little City Cycles
Vergennes, Vermont
About
Little City Cycles, located in Vergennes, Vermont, is owned and operated by Tim Mathewson, a master mechanic with 35+ years in the bike industry across three shop ownerships and roles as frame builder, designer, and custom fabricator. The shop fixes and sells bicycles, with a particular focus on restoring older bikes and carries Zize Bikes (designed for riders of larger frame sizes). Beyond retail, Mathewson is a cofounder of Bike Recycle Vermont, which has distributed over 2,000 bikes to refugees and low-income Vermonters, and runs Green Mountain Foster Bikes; the shop also supports immigrant farm workers in the region with bike access.
