Founded in 2019 in Leadville, Colorado at 10,200 feet of elevation, LeadVelo Bicicasa is the highest bike shop in the United States. Owned and operated by Rafael "Rafa" Millan-Garcia, this "all bikes for all people" store serves as a dedicated support hub for Leadville 100 racers, (service, shipping and storage) bikepacking adventurers, and all-discipline cyclists. An authorized dealer for Specialized Bikes (including S-Works), Otso Cycles and Kona Bicycles; offers custom wheel building, dropper-post work and is the only comprehensive suspension service center in the Arkansas valley. Located between the Sawatch and Mosquito Mountain ranges, LeadVelo welcomes bikepackers with expedited service, free bike wash station, and a place to just rest, charge devices, dry your camping gear, and more. During the winter, LeadVelo is Colorado's Fat Bike central.
