Kevin's Bikes was founded in 1986 by Kevin McCarthy, a former USA BMX champion, and is now owned by Dwight Ewing, who has worked there over 10 years and leads the Merced Bicycle Coalition. Located at 2820 G Street in Merced, the shop carries Aventon, Giant, Rad Power, Specialized, and Shimano, with a full-service repair shop offering tune-ups, overhauls, e-bike work, and custom builds. Dwight and his family remain active in community cycling advocacy and volunteer at local events including the Merced Criterium.
