KB Wheels was founded in 2014 by Casey Ford, a professional wheel builder certified by DT Swiss and the United Bicycle Institute, and relocated to Yarmouth, Maine in 2018. The shop specializes in hand-built custom wheels for mountain, road, and gravel bikes, and offers complete custom bike builds using carbon gravel and fat bike frames. Beyond custom work, KB Wheels provides tune-ups starting at $80, disc brake service, wheel builds at $70 per wheel, tire repair and tubeless conversions, and special orders; it is Maine's authorized dealer for OPEN gravel bikes.
