Founded by Jan Heylen, a Belgian former professional race car driver, Kafe Racer acquired the former Dunedin Cyclery and opened in downtown Dunedin on the Pinellas Trail. The shop carries Giant, Gazelle, Bianchi, De Rosa, Magnum, and Brooklyn bikes, with a full service department, rentals (e-bikes, hybrids, road bikes, kids bikes, and trikes), and cycling apparel. A on-site café serves locally roasted coffee, beer, wine, and pastries, with live music on weekends and an outdoor area overlooking the trail.
