Jersey Bents, located in Berlin, NJ, specializes exclusively in recumbent bikes and trikes. Owner Larry Swope transitioned to recumbents after an elbow injury and subsequently acquired the shop; his son Matthew co-owns and serves as shop manager and bike builder. The shop carries ten recumbent brands: Avenue, Azub, Bacchetta, Catrike, Day 6, GreenSpeed, ICE, Lightning Cycle Dynamics, SteinTrikes, and TerraTrike: plus accessories from Alpaca, Crank Brothers, Ortlieb, Schwalbe, and others. Jersey Bents hosts group trike rides and operates by appointment only at its current location.
