About
Jersey Bents, located in Berlin, NJ, specializes exclusively in recumbent bikes and trikes. Owner Larry Swope transitioned to recumbents after an elbow injury and subsequently acquired the shop; his son Matthew co-owns and serves as shop manager and bike builder. The shop carries ten recumbent brands (Avenue, Azub, Bacchetta, Catrike, Day 6, GreenSpeed, ICE, Lightning Cycle Dynamics, SteinTrikes, and TerraTrike) plus accessories from Alpaca, Crank Brothers, Ortlieb, Schwalbe, and others. Jersey Bents hosts group trike rides and operates by appointment only at its current location.
