Jerry & Sparky's Bicycle Shop was founded in 1966 by Jerry and his wife Barb with help from longtime Davenport dealer Floyd "Sparky" Winegarden, who secured the original Schwinn franchise. The current location on East Locust Street has operated since 1982 with expanded showroom and repair facilities. The shop carries Trek, Electra, Gazelle, Surly, 45NRTH, Teravail, Shimano, and SRAM across road, mountain, gravel, hybrid, and electric bikes. Beyond sales, the shop emphasizes service philosophy: "we service what we sell": with in-store repair and maintenance, and offers mobile service to bring bikes and gear to customers at home.
