Jay's Cycle Center began as a pet shop in Scotch Plains in the early 1950s before pivoting to bicycles and eventually consolidating to Westfield, where it has operated for over 60 years under family ownership. The shop carries Trek, Electra, Giant, Liv, and Kink BMX, alongside components from Shimano and SRAM, accessories from Thule, and trainers from Wahoo Fitness. Services include general repairs and assembly across all brands, tiered tune-ups (Safety, Annual, Tune Up Plus, and Pro Tune ranging from $99: $399), bike rentals by day to month, and limited e-bike service by appointment.
