Founded in December 1993 and opened February 1994 in Raleigh, NC, Inside-Out Sports specializes exclusively in running and triathlon: a singular focus refined over 20+ years. The shop operates a 5,000 sq ft headquarters in Cary (opened 2002) with in-house bike fitting via Computrainer, treadmill stride analysis, and an indoor track. It carries Cervelo, Shimano, and Specialized, and offers professional bike fitting, rental bikes and wheels, and multiple service tiers including annual tune-ups and safety checkups. The shop has sponsored the Raleigh Marathon, Women's Distance Festival, and the Inside-Out Sports Turkey Trot, and held title sponsorship of Triangle Triathlon since 1995.
