Industry Nine has manufactured and handbuilt hubs, spokes, and drive systems in Asheville, NC since 2004, engineering every component in-house. In 2025, the company acquired WR1, a carbon rim manufacturer in Kamloops, BC (operating since 2017), integrating hand-laid carbon production under one roof. The shop serves riders across disciplines (XC, trail, enduro, downhill, e-bike, bikepacking, dirt jump, gravel, and road) with wheels and components (hubs: Hydra2, SOLiX, 1/1; stems; headsets) designed and built specifically for each category.
