Founded in April 2012 as Independent Bike Builder by Kirk, a former professional triathlete (2006: 2013) with 20+ years of racing experience, IBB Cyclery opened a permanent location in Ivins, Utah in October 2013. The shop specializes in a three-step FIT→SPEC→BUILD process: power-based dynamic bike fitting (F.I.S.T. certified since 2014), component and frame specification matched to rider position and budget, and precision custom builds with attention to final geometry. Kirk has completed over 900 fits and 600 frame-up custom builds for clients across 37+ states and 10+ countries. The shop serves triathlon, road, gravel, cyclocross, and mountain bike communities, with particular depth in multisport and time-trial platforms.
