Question 1

What is the IBB Fit→Spec→Build process?

Accepted Answer

IBB Cyclery uses a three-step custom build methodology. The Fit phase involves F.I.S.T. Bike Fit Certified analysis using a power-based dynamic fitting approach to optimize comfort, biomechanics, and efficiency across pedal interface, saddle positioning, handlebar geometry, and crank length. The Spec phase pins down frame size, geometry, and components based on the rider's fit coordinates and budget. The Build phase includes meticulous assembly with precision cuts to brake lines, fork tubes, and bars, followed by fine-tuning of brakes and derailleurs to match the rider's exact fit coordinates.
