Established in 1974 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Hostel Shoppe has focused on recumbent trikes and bikes since the early 1990s, with trikes accounting for over 80% of its business and a stock of over 90 recumbent models from eight global brands including ICE, Catrike, Azub, and HP Velotechnik. The shop carries road, mountain, and gravel bikes from Trek, Specialized, Giant, Salsa, Surly, and other brands, and is located near the Green Circle Trail with a private test track on site. It hosts the annual Pedal Point Rally fundraiser for Spokes Fighting Strokes and offers free adaptive cycling clinics for stroke survivors and people with neurological conditions, brain injuries, and limb loss.
