Hitchhiker began as a mobile bike shop and has retained that ethos of speed and accessibility: 24-hour service turnarounds, low-pressure sales, and guaranteed work. Located at 394 Mountain Rd in Stowe, it stocks Rocky Mountain, Otso, Cervelo, Chromag, and Forbidden bikes alongside Surly, Pivot, 45NRTH, and Teravail parts and accessories. The shop specializes in mountain and gravel bikes but services all types, and hosts Velo Stowe, an annual gravel event and fundraiser for the Stowe Trails Partnership.
