About
Freewheelin' Community Bikes is an Indianapolis-based youth organization that connects young people with bicycle skills, maintenance education, and mentorship. The organization runs the Green Apron (Earn-a-Bike) introductory program, Advanced Bicycle Mechanics classes, and a Bike Lab workspace for hands-on learning, alongside a paid Youth Education and Employment Training (YEET) program for ages 14: 18. The shop prioritizes accessible bicycles and positive youth: adult relationships as pathways to physical and mental well-being.
