About
Established in 2006, Fifth Street Cross is a cyclocross and cross-country running race series based in Emmaus, Pennsylvania. Originally hosted on the estates of founders Bill and Beth Strickland on Fifth Street, the event now operates from the Emmaus Recycling Center and has moved through three promoters. The Thursday-night course features grassy fields, turns, steps, barriers, and pavement sections designed for technique development in a competitive training environment. The series also hosts a spring 5K and cyclocross race at Wayne Grube Park in Northampton and runs an XC mountain bike race and trail marathon as part of the Mid-Atlantic Super Series.
