Don's Bicycles was founded on April 1, 1959, by Don McAfee in Rialto, California, and is now run by his son Scott McAfee. The shop operates two locations: the original Rialto store and an 8,000 sq ft megastore in downtown Redlands opened in 2012: carrying Specialized, Cannondale, Cervelo, Fuji, Giant, Intense, Kona, Pivot, Salsa, 45NRTH, and Surly. Services include professional bike fitting, carbon-fiber frame repair, general repairs and tune-ups (free lifetime on new bikes), and custom wheel building. Scott McAfee's history as a two-time California Road Champion and founder of professional cycling teams (7-Up men's and Diet Rite women's) reflects the shop's deep competitive cycling roots.
