Dallas Bike Works was founded in 2006 by Boyd Wallace at a Skillman and Abrams location, relocating in 2010 to the old PT's building on Lawther and Northwest Highway. Boyd and his wife Whitney manage operations with four full-time mechanics and two sales associates. The shop carries Giant, Cannondale, BMC, LIV, Momentum, Jamis, Transition, Ibis, Yeti, Santa Cruz, Pivot, Allied, and Pinarello bicycles, and serves road, mountain, recreation, and transportation cyclists. In 2023, Pull Through Coffee opened inside the shop, offering a cafe, specialty drinks, and pastries Wednesday: Sunday, operated by barista and cyclist Christina James; the space has become a community hub for runners and riders with an outdoor walk-up bar and patio.
