Question 1

Does Cyclone Electric Bikes offer test rides, and how are they conducted?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The shop provides private test rides in a spacious area with varied surfaces. During the test ride, Chris guides the customer personally and provides a Sena smart helmet with two-way communication so riders can ask questions in real time. Same-day appointments are often available by calling 903-776-9942.

Question 2

Can customers take their new e-bike home the same day they visit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cyclone stocks a large inventory and adjusts bikes to fit customers during their test ride, allowing most customers to ride away the same day of purchase. Delivery throughout the DFW area is also available for bikes that don't fit in a vehicle.

Question 3

What repair and service work does Cyclone perform?

Accepted Answer

Cyclone services most e-bike brands in addition to the ones it sells, though direct-to-consumer models may have limited parts availability. The shop also provides mobile service and home delivery of e-bikes and repairs to customers' locations.

Question 4

Are there any tax or pricing advantages to shopping at this location?

Accepted Answer

Because Cyclone is located outside city limits in Farmersville, the sales tax rate is lower than in surrounding cities. For current pricing, customers should call 903-776-9942, as direct-to-consumer brands run frequent manufacturer sales throughout the year.

Question 5

Does Cyclone carry youth or legal e-bikes for teenagers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The shop stocks youth e-bikes that comply with local regulations, including models with pedals, 750-watt maximum power, 20 mph speed limits, and no passenger pegs. Some models include parental control apps with geofencing. Cyclone does not sell or service e-motorcycles without pedals, regardless of how they are marketed.
