Founded in 1957 and still privately owned, Conte's operates multiple locations serving Washington DC, Virginia, North Carolina, Massachusetts, and Florida. The shop carries road, gravel, mountain, and e-bike brands including Cannondale, Cervelo, Giant, Pinarello, Santa Cruz, Surly, and Gazelle. Its flagship service is professional bike fitting, ranging from the Essential Fit ($200) covering cleat, saddle, and bar position, to the Precision Fit with Velogicfit motion capture ($300), Precision Frame Finder ($350) with test-ride coordination, and Try Before You Buy ($500) with 48-hour demo periods. The shop also hosts the annual B2VT Ride, a 148-mile endurance event across three states.
