About
Charlotte BMX was founded in 1990 by Pete and Maria Taylor to provide a local BMX track for their sons. Operating as a 501(c)(3) volunteer-run organization in Punta Gorda, Florida, it hosts USA BMX National, State, and Regional qualifiers and has generated over $2 million in annual economic impact to Charlotte County. The facility serves young BMX racers across all competitive levels, with a philosophy centered on sportsmanship, healthy competition, and athlete development both on and off the track.
