Buchikas was founded in 1963 by George 'Butch' Buchika in Haverhill, MA, initially to fund his son Roger's ski-racing career. The business expanded to Salem, NH in 1974 and moved to its current Route 28 location in 1985; a second store opened in Nashua. Now owned and operated by Dave Galeucia and Todd Atkinson since 2007, Buchikas carries Specialized, Cannondale, Trek, Fuji, and Surly bicycles alongside ski equipment from Volkl, Salomon, and Atomic. The shop offers professional bike fitting, full-service repairs for all makes and models, and serves families, enthusiasts, and cyclists across both sports.
