Kevin Gambini purchased Breakaway Bikes in November 2014 from its original Rohnert Park location and moved it to Santa Rosa in 2015 to better serve customers and access Trione-Annadel State Park, where Gambini has ridden since the early 1990s. The shop carries Trek, Santa Cruz, Giant, Salsa, Kona, Juliana, Electra, and Surly with a team boasting over 100 combined years in the industry rooted in early mountain biking. Services include custom builds, wheel building, and standard tune-ups; the shop also offers rentals and demos.
