Yes. Rentals are available starting in late April, weather and trail conditions permitting. Comfort/hybrid and rail trail rental styles are offered in multiple sizes, with prices starting at $49 per day for comfort/hybrid bikes. All rentals are full-day only and available at the St. Albans shop location; day-of rentals are available if not already reserved.

Renters are responsible for providing their own tools, spare tubes, water bottles, riding shoes, apparel, and pumps; the shop can help customers purchase these items at the location if needed. Renters must also arrange their own transportation and cannot use shop shuttles.

Renters must sign and complete a liability waiver at pickup, provide a valid driver's license to be kept on file, and provide a credit card to be kept on file. A separate completed waiver is required for each bike rented, regardless of group size. Customers can request to review the waiver before booking by emailing rentals@bootleggerbikes.com with 'Rental Waiver Request' in the subject line.

Co-owners Matt and Josh met during college years and both developed a passion for bicycles from an early age. Matt began with childhood pedal strokes and BMX racing near his Pennsylvania hometown, then worked as a teenager wrenching at a fourth-generation family-friend bike shop. Josh progressed from childhood and teenage BMX to mountain biking and moved into building and fine-tuning bikes. The shop reflects their combined passion for bicycles and commitment to keeping the community on their bikes.
