Bikeworx has served Spartanburg since 1998 as the oldest locally owned bicycle shop in the area, built on over 30 years of mechanical expertise under owner Eric Turner, a certified Barnett Bicycle Institute mechanic. The shop carries Marin, Haro, KHS, Del Sol, EVO, Free Agent, and Manhattan bikes across adult, youth, road, mountain, and comfort categories, along with a deep parts and accessories inventory from Shimano, SRAM, Fox, Mavic, Kenda, Park Tool, and 50+ other brands. Beyond retail, Bikeworx offers free adjustment plans with bike purchases, free repair estimates, test rides on the Mary Black Rail Trail behind the shop, and a Bike Worx Club Membership with ongoing discounts. The shop actively partners with local trail organizations (SORBA, Friends of Croft, IMBA) and city/state land managers to build and maintain trails at Duncan Park and Croft State Park, and supports youth cycling through schools, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and international bicycle nonprofits.
