About
Founded in 1998 in Vienna, VA, Bikes@Vienna specializes in recumbent bikes, recumbent trikes, adaptive cycles, and folding bikes: categories largely absent from mainstream shops. The shop serves cyclists seeking comfort (recumbents reduce joint strain and fatigue), aerodynamic advantage, or portability (folding bikes for transit, RVs, and travel), as well as those with adaptive cycling needs. Beyond sales, the service department handles custom builds, commuter rigs, bikepacking/touring bikes, and extensive e-bike work (Bosch, Shimano, Bafang, Falco systems), plus repairs on upright bikes, tandems, and vintage restorations.
