Founded in 1988 by Steve Ruck, Bike Doctor has operated from its Arnold, MD headquarters for over 30 years and now operates seven locations across Maryland. The chain carries Trek, Electra, and Cannondale at all stores, with Salsa and Cervelo available by location, alongside Specialized, SRAM, Shimano, 45NRTH, Aventon, Benno, and Teravail. Services include professional bike fitting, Shimano-certified repairs, a one-year Bike Doctor Care adjustment program on all new bikes, and trade-in buyback through Bicycle Blue Book. The shop hosts weekly road and gravel group rides from multiple locations and sponsors local races and events.
