About
Big Stump Bikes operates from Olympia's West side, carrying Cannondale, Specialized, Salsa, 45NRTH, Teravail, and Shimano/SRAM components. Founded and managed by Cole Bates (20 years in cycling retail) and André Istari (Navy mechanic turned bicycle restorer), the shop serves mountain bikers, gravel riders, road cyclists, e-bike enthusiasts, and commuters across the South Sound region. The shop emphasizes bike repair and maintenance (routine tune-ups through full builds) and offers test rides to match riders to frame size and bike type.
