Big Cat Electric Bikes was founded in 2013 by Vincent Gebbia, who designed his first pedal-assist e-bike to help his mother regain mobility after a knee injury. The company operates two retail locations: Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida, and Holbrook, Suffolk County, New York: staffed by a team with over 30 years of combined cycling-industry experience. Big Cat specializes in fat-tire e-bikes, folding e-bikes, electric cruisers, and e-trikes, all shipped with UL-certified lithium-ion batteries and backed by a nationwide Velofix mobile service network. In-store rentals, service, repair, and financing are available at both locations.
