Bicycle World opened in 1988 in a shared downtown tanning salon in Cornwall, Ontario, and has grown to three locations. Owner Al McGimpsey relocated the current flagship to 24 Ninth Street East, a 4,000-square-foot storefront with showroom, service bay, and parking. The shop carries Kona bikes and thousands of parts and accessories, with a fully stocked service department and trained mechanics. In addition to bicycles and e-bikes, the shop stocks and services cross-country skis, snowshoes, and snowboards.
