Bicycle Warehouse opened July 4, 1992, as Mountain Bike Warehouse in Pacific Beach near Interstate 5; the original warehouse building remains a landmark in San Diego County. Founded by Debbe and Mike Simmons, the family-owned shop has grown into a small retail chain plus e-commerce operation. It carries Aventon, Cannondale, Giant, Kona, Liv, Specialized, and component brands Shimano and SRAM, with bikes built by in-house experts and shipped direct.
