Alpine Shop opened in 1966 as a rental operation for Schweitzer Ski Resort and has grown into a year-round outfitter with two locations: downtown Sandpoint (213 Church Street) and Schweitzer Village. The shop carries Specialized, Santa Cruz, Pivot, Juliana, 45NRTH, Teravail, Shimano, and SRAM across a full line of bikes and e-bikes. Services include suspension work (Fox and Rockshox), wheel truing, tubeless conversions, brake bleeds, and e-bike updates; the downtown location also offers daily rentals (Specialized Status 2 at $100/day) and serves watersports and apparel alongside cycling.
