Founded in 1999 in downtown Salida's historic Old Feed Store (built 1903), Absolute Bikes carries Yeti, Pivot, Trek, Electra, and others across mountain, gravel, commuter, and e-bike categories. Shop owner Shawn Gillis is a certified Master Bike Fitter. The shop offers bike fitting in a dedicated fit room, general repair and maintenance with mechanics on hand, seasonal shuttles to Monarch Crest and Cottonwood trails, and a demo program. Located on the Arkansas River with shared parking and bathrooms via High Side Bar & Grill, it serves Salida's cycling community year-round.
